Lahore: Pakistani Security forces A key commander was killed on Saturday. Outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) which was involved in several terror plots, including the fatal attack on the ISI building Punjab Province. The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has said in a statement that it received intelligence that some terrorists are hiding in Chiniot area, 200 km from the provincial capital Lahore.
The CTD along with the police raided their residence on Saturday morning.
“When the police surrounded the hideout, the terrorists opened fire on them. The firing was retaliated and two terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire,” CTD said.
One of the terrorists has been identified as Ghazanfar Nadeem alias Khalid Habib, on whom there was a reward of five lakh rupees. It said that Nadeem was the mastermind behind the bomb attack on the ISI building in Faisalabad city, 130 km from Lahore.
In 2011, an improvised explosive device exploded outside the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) building in Faisalabad, killing 25 people and injuring over 100.

CTD says that a huge amount of explosives and weapons have also been recovered from the hideout of the terrorists.
