Uttarakhand: 'Girl taken out of protection home by employees, raped' | Dehradun News - Times of India

Nainital: A case has been registered at the Haldwani police station against two female employees of a child protection home, alleging serious offences. Rape and violations of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act. The women are accused of taking out a 15-year-old girl. Protection Housewhere she was allegedly raped. Child Welfare Committee Member Ravinder Rotila filed a complaint, stating that the accused employees, Deepa and Ganga, took the minor to another place, where the alleged crime took place. The police have registered a report against the women. District Magistrate Vandana Singh met the employees and the detained minor.
CPI(ML) Nainital district secretary Dr Kailash Pandey stressed the need to reveal the identity of the accused immediately and warned against efforts to rescue them.
