US gurdwara body condemns vandalism at Hindu temple - Times of India

Amritsar: The American Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has condemned the vandalism of Shri. Swaminarayan Temple I Newark, CaliforniaAllegedly by Khalistani separatists.
“The AGPC is deeply disturbed by the recent act of vandalism at a Hindu temple in Newark. AGPC Strongly condemns this crime,” AGPC president Preet Pal Singh said on Monday.

He said that the Sikh community strongly supports the universal right to freedom of religion and to practice one’s religion without fear, reflecting the fundamental principles of Sikh principles and American values.

“Our commitment to these ideals is deeply rooted in our history, as evidenced by their ultimate sacrifices. Guru Tegh BahadurWho gave his life to protect the religious freedom of Hindus.
The Shri Swaminarayan Temple was vandalized with graffiti containing derogatory remarks about PM Modi.
