Verify that your computer and printer are connected to the same network, refer to the printer’s manual for guidance if necessary.
Restart Devices: Power cycle both your computer and printer. Turn them off, unplug the printer’s power cable, wait 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Allow the printer to boot completely before restarting your computer.
Run Printer Troubleshooter: On Windows 11, go to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners > Troubleshoot. On Windows 10, run Settings > Devices > Printers and scanners > Troubleshooter. Follow the troubleshooter’s instructions to identify and resolve any issues.

On Windows 10, go to Settings > Devices > Printers and scanners. Uncheck “Allow Windows to manage my default printer” and set your printer as the default.
