A Nestlé India spokesperson said, “Increasing awareness about pet nutritional needs and lifestyle choices is positively impacting the pet food segment. For example, cats as compared to dogs are relatively picky eaters and often prefer to stick to their favorite foods. Essential amino acids such as taurine, which cats cannot produce themselves, need to be part of a balanced diet.
