New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday Technologyhas become an important part of life like never before and India should aim that it does not need to import technology or depend on others for it. He said India has the world’s largest talent pool and “the world is confident that India can provide low-cost, quality, sustainable and scalable solutions to global challenges”.
Interacting with the students during the grand finale of Smart India Hackathon“Technology has become an important part of our lives like never before. Our aim should be that India does not have to import any technology or depend on others for it,” he said.
The Prime Minister appreciated the young innovators for their problem solving skills and ease in tackling complex challenges.
“Today we are at a turning point, where every effort we make will strengthen the foundation of India for the next millennium,” he said.
