NLC India contributes Rs 4.30 crore to CM Relief Fund for flood-affected people of Tamil Nadu - Times of India

New Delhi: Govt NLC India Limited has contributed Rs 4.30 crore to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund for Tamil Nadu flood affected people. Cyclone Michaung It wreaked havoc in Chennai and its neighboring districts, inundating the city, disrupting flights and trains, and shocking residents.
According to an official statement, “NLC India Limited, under the Ministry of Coal, has contributed Rs 4.30 crore to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund, including Rs 2.30 crore as a day’s salary of NLC India employees. Including Rs.”
The aid is to promote the recovery of people affected by the recent floods caused by Cyclone Michaung which devastated Chennai and the surrounding districts of Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram and Changalpattu, as well as the southern districts of Tuticorin. NLC India has also extended its helping hand by installing 18 giant water pumps along with its engineers and technicians to de-flood important locations and clean water from flood-affected residences.
