New Delhi: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif On Tuesday, it expressed that neither India, nor the US, nor Afghanistan were responsible for it. He emphasized that the economic condition of the country is the result of internal factors rather than external influences. Sharif accused the military of rigging the election of the government in the 2018 elections, causing hardship to the people and economic decline.

Criticizing the judiciary, Sharif questioned the support of military dictators while holding the prime minister accountable. He specifically targeted former ISI chief General Faiz Hamid for his role in his ouster in 2017, citing a case filed in the Supreme Court against those who feared Sharif would be jailed if he was jailed. If released, their efforts will be wasted.
Sharif, the only politician to be prime minister three times, who returned from four years in exile in October, has accused the military establishment of making decisions to bring its favored candidate to power. He cited his dismissals in 1999 and 2017, citing reasons such as being branded a hijacker and not accepting salary from his son.
In a televised address, Sharif accused the 2014-17 military establishment of pressuring senior judges to remove him from power, and alleged intimidation and interference in judicial decisions.
Last week, Sharif was acquitted in the Al-Azizia Steel Mill corruption case, adding to earlier acquittals in the Avenfield corruption case and the Flagship corruption case.
