Large fire burns second residential construction site in three days in Denver suburb - Times of India

DENVER: Firefighters in the Denver metro area responded to a second large fire in Aurora. Construction site Saturday in three days. Authorities have not yet determined the cause of either fire or whether they were related, but both are under investigation.
Saturday’s five-alarm fire was reported at about 12:48 p.m. Aurora Fire Rescuespokesman Andrew Logan, in a large apartment building that was still under construction. Aurora Fire Rescue wrote in a news release that Thursday’s fire was “a very volatile, extremely dangerous scene,” and that responding crews used a hose line to prevent nearby propane tanks from exploding. No one was injured in Thursday’s fire.
“I believe the only thing they have in common so far is that they were both under construction,” Aurora Fire Deputy Chief Ken Hills said at a news conference Saturday afternoon.
