 India, Bangladesh officials stress on coordinated management to tackle trans-border crimes | India News - Times of India

Guwahati: Higher authorities Border Security Agencies India and Bangladesh Emphasized on Sunday Integrated management to check Cross-border crime. He also emphasized on the increase. Mutual trust between Border Guardsan official statement said.
Inspector General, BSF Guwahati Frontier, Dinesh Kumar Yadav along with his field commanders interacted with Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Director General Major General AKM Nazmul Hasan at the International Border in Assam’s Dhubri district.
A BSF release said, “Both the officers briefly discussed issues related to border management.
Attention was drawn to the importance of an integrated border management plan to curb the menace of cross-border crime.
It said that the BSFIG also discussed the new design of single-row fencing with senior BGB officials.
The release said that during the meeting various measures were highlighted to enhance mutual trust and cooperation between the forces guarding the two borders.
