New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Sunday urged a group of students from Jammu and Kashmir to work and contribute to the development of the country and help fulfill the dream of a developed India when the country completes 100 years of independence. 2047.
Around 250 students from all districts of J&K participated in freewheeling and informal discussions. These students are visiting Jaipur, Ajmer and New Delhi under the Government of India’s ‘Know the Country-Youth Exchange Program 2023’.

In the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, the tour aims to expose the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to the cultural and social diversity of the country.
During the interaction, the Prime Minister asked the students about their travel experience and the famous places they had visited.

He discussed the rich sports culture in Jammu and Kashmir and asked the students about their participation in sports. “He cited the example of Sheetal Devi, a young archer from Jammu and Kashmir, who won three medals at the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou. The PMO also appreciated the talent of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir and added that among them Has the ability to excel in any field.

Talking about the construction of the world’s highest railway bridge in Jammu and Kashmir, the Prime Minister said it would improve connectivity in the region.

Talking about the record number of tourists visiting Jammu and Kashmir this year, the Prime Minister said that Jammu and Kashmir has immense opportunities in the tourism sector. He also spoke about the benefits of yoga and exhorted the students to practice it daily.
