Haryana man accused of killing family arrested | Thane News - Times of India

Thane: A 29-year-old murder suspect from Haryana who fled his hometown after brutally killing three members of his family, including children, in Thane – after a bitter argument with his wife over alcohol addiction and unemployment. – has been arrested by the police. Within 48 hours, officials said.
The accused has been identified as Amit Baghi, who was arrested from Hisar railway station two days after the murder. It is learned that he told the police that while he had pre-planned the attack on his wife, he did not want to harm his children but changed his mind after realizing that he would have to take care of them later. There will be no one.

“He had unsuccessfully tried to convince his wife to come back with him on the morning of December 21, but she instead scolded him for being unemployed. During our initial interrogation, the accused said that he initially did not want to harm his children but wondered who would take care of them. encouraged him to attack them too,” Ghodke told TOI.
“The accused panicked after the attack and fled to his native land by train. Following instructions from seniors including Police Commissioner Ashutosh Dumbre, we immediately launched an investigation to trace him but as he was not carrying his mobile, it was difficult to trace him initially. We relied on our intelligence network and finally nabbed him when he got down at Hisar station,” said Shivraj Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime.
Assistant Police Inspector Sunil Tramle said that a case has been registered against the arrested accused under Section 302 of the IPC and further investigation is underway.
