In a new wave of ATM fraud, cyber fraudsters are sending ATM cards directly to your home. This is part of a growing trend of exploiting the unsuspecting by combining social engineering with the convenience of doorstep delivery. The surprising fact is that this corruption is carried out with careful planning, taking advantage of the element of surprise to keep victims safe.
Given this emerging threat, it is becoming increasingly important for ATM users to be vigilant against fraudulent techniques that can rob them of their hard-earned money. Here are some of the types of ATM fraud that are trapping people across the country:
