The incident reportedly took place on April 13 during a “meet and greet” session organized by key representatives of the cooperative sector at the Surya election office. The complaint alleged that people associated with the Congress party forcibly entered the meeting without invitation and disrupted it.
In their complaint, the representatives demanded that an FIR be registered against the Congress candidate and his associates and a thorough investigation into the incident.
