New Delhi: The Center on Monday issued an advisory to the states regarding the recent increase in cases of Covid-19 and the detection of its first case in some states. JN.1 variable in the country.

“In view of the recent increase in Covid-19 cases in some states/UTs of India and the identification of the first case of the new type of JN.1 in the country, Union Health Secretary Sidhanesh Pant has sent a letter to the states/UTs. Highlighting the need to maintain a constant state of vigilance over the Covid situation in the country,” Ministry of Health said in a statement.
