Batting coach Vikram Rathour lauds 'man of crisis' KL Rahul - Times of India

The batting coach added that he would have liked to have more runs on the scoreboard after the end of the first day. However, he added that the visitors did “reasonably well” against the Proteas on day one.

“It was always going to be a difficult surface to bat on because the weather was there, the wicket was under wraps for a day or so. We would have liked to have taken two more wickets at the end of the day. But we did reasonably well. demonstrated, we have put runs on the board,” he added.
talking about Virat Kohli And Shreyas Iyerhe praised both the batsmen and said that they played an important recovery partnership after India lost three wickets.
