Attacking the BJP, Akalis and Congress in the same breath, he said: “Akali, Congress or BJP-Akali governments have never allocated a package of Rs 1,125 crore in one go.”
He added that all his party’s rivals have joined hands to ask the central government to stop the grant to Punjab as they feel that if AAP succeeds in development work in Punjab, it will be “ruined” in the elections. will go. “People of Punjab are very happy with our work, and they will give us victory in all 13 Lok Sabha seats,” he said.
Claiming unprecedented development in Punjab, the Delhi Chief Minister said that the Rs 1,125 crore package would build many hospitals and schools in the state. “We recently went to Gurdaspur and announced a package of Rs 1,850 crore and before that Hoshiarpur got a package of Rs 850 crore,” he added.
At the rally, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann attacked the grand old party, accusing Congress and SAD leaders of promoting corruption and nepotism.
The entire Punjab cabinet and Rajya Sabha member Sandeep Pathak were present in the rally.
The state unit of the Congress is also resisting any possible alliance with the AAP in Punjab for the Lok Sabha polls. A few days ago, the party had asked the state unit to conduct a feasibility survey and submit a report in two weeks.
