Amrit Bharat Express: PM Modi to flag off 2 new trains with sleeper, unreserved general coaches for aam aadmi; an exclusive sneak peek – Times of India

Amrit Bharat Express Is the Indian Railways’ new offering to make train travel more comfortable and faster for the common man. Flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30, the new Amrit Bharat Express is a push-pull train with a speed capability of 130 kmph that is expected to benefit the migrant labor force in particular.
The Amrit Bharat Express, formerly known as the Vande Sadharan, features aerodynamically designed locomotives of the Vande Bharat style. However, unlike Vande Bharat trains, Amrit Bharat Express is loco held.
The new Amrit Bharat Express train is a sight to behold in orange and gray colours. It has a WAP5 locomotive with 6,000 HP at each end of the train to allow “push-pull” operation of the train. The major advantage of push-pull train is high speed which results in less travel time.
