Gandhinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said here on Sunday that PM Narendra Modi Working diligently on his goal of making 140 crore people including the poor in the country self-reliance.
Addressing a gathering of beneficiaries of the PM Swandi scheme, which helps street vendors get easy loans, Shah said, “PM Modi has given 140 crore people, including all poor people, ‘Atmanirbhar’ (self dependence). Apart from space technology, research and development, among other things, the Prime Minister has worked diligently to improve the quality of life of 60 crore poor people.

Shah said that the poor have benefited the most in the Modi government. “In the last nine years, about 3 crore people got their houses, 4 crore people got electricity connections, 10 crore got gas cylinders, 12 crore got toilets, 80 crore got free ration and 60 crore people got Rs. 5 lakh. Covered under the Health Insurance Scheme of Rs. Amit Shah added.

Talking about Gandhinagar, Shah said, “In my constituency, more than 1.5 lakh people have benefited from the PM-SVANidhi scheme, which provides collateral-free financial assistance to people with small loans. own businesses and drive vehicles.”
