Recalling an example about his father Amitabh Bachchan and recalling the early days of his career, Abhishek said he was doing double shifts. One day, while doing this double shift, he was so tired that he came home early and had breakfast. Then his father asked him, ‘How was it?’ Abhishek replies and says that he is feeling very tired. Reacting to this, Big B said, “We used to do it a lot. I was shooting Sholay about an hour from Bengaluru, where Ramgarh is set. Drive to Bengaluru airport, Mumbai. So take a flight, go straight to Ballard Pier, where we were shooting the climax of the wall. I would shoot overnight, come back home, get an adrenaline shot, fly back to Bangalore the next morning and the whole thing. Shoot the day.”
Abhishek revealed that Big B did this for a month! However, times have changed today and actors get time to prepare and perform only one project at a time. On the work front, Abhishek was last seen in R Balki’s ‘Ghoomar’ which received a lot of love from the public and many thought it was his best work since ‘Guru’.
