NEW DELHI: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 auction in the world of cricket is taking place in Dubai today, as 10 IPL franchises will compete in it to nab top players.

The IPL Governing Council gave a franchise list of 1166, and after all the franchises submitted their wish list, the number was reduced to 332. Of these, 216 are from India, 116 from abroad, and two from associate countries.
The 10 franchises can spend a total of Rs 262.95 crore.

Chennai Super Kings (Rs 31.4 crore), Mumbai Indians (Rs 17.75 crore), Royal Challengers Bangalore (Rs 23.25 crore), Kolkata Knight Riders (Rs 32.7 crore), Gujarat Titans (Rs 38.15 crore), Sunrisers Hyderabad (Rs 34 crore) ), Delhi Capitals (Rs 28.95 crore), Punjab Kings (Rs 29.1 crore), Lucknow Supergiants (Rs 13.15 crore) and Rajasthan Royals (Rs 14.5 crore) will spend the rest of their money to fill their final slots in their squads. .
